WaterApp

Terms of Service

Last updated 1 November 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and WaterApp for using our website and app. By creating an account or using WaterApp you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

WaterApp (“WaterApp”, “we”) provides software for water-refilling stations: point of sale, orders, deliveries, customers, inventory, reports and a public online store for each station. WaterApp is a software tool. We do not sell, prepare or deliver water, and each station is solely responsible for the products and services it sells to its own customers.

2. Accounts and who may use it

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract, and you must use WaterApp for a lawful business purpose.
  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your password secret; you are responsible for what happens under your account, including your staff's actions. Tell us at once if you think someone else has your login.
  • An account belongs to one station. Owners decide who their staff and riders are and what each may do.

3. Free trial, plans and payment

  • Free trial: a new station can try WaterApp free for 14 days, with no card required. If you pay during the trial, your remaining free days are kept.
  • Plans and prices: the plans, their features and prices are shown on our website and in the app, in Philippine pesos for GCash/Maya payments and in US dollars for card payments. Once you subscribe, the price you started at stays the same for your subscription; changes apply to new subscribers.
  • GCash and Maya: you send the amount shown, with your reference, and upload your receipt. Your plan starts when we confirm the payment. Nothing is charged automatically.
  • Card: card payments are processed by our payment partner Creem, who acts as the merchant of record and may add taxes. Card subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel in the app. You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • One method at a time: while a card subscription is active, GCash/Maya payments are turned off to prevent double payment. To switch, cancel the card subscription first.
  • Upgrades and downgrades: upgrading to a higher plan during a paid period means paying only the price difference for the days left, and your end date does not change. A lower plan can start when the current period ends.
  • Not paying: if a period ends without payment, your station is paused. Your records stay saved and the station comes back when you pay.
  • Refunds: contact us through the Help center; we review requests case by case and follow the law and our payment partner's rules.

4. Your responsibilities as a station owner

  • You are responsible for your products, prices, water quality, deliveries, permits, taxes, and for how you treat your customers.
  • When you record or collect your customers' personal data in WaterApp, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and for telling them how you use it, as required by the Data Privacy Act. We process that data for you under our Privacy Policy.
  • Keep your payment details (such as GCash/Maya QR codes) correct. We are not a party to payments between you and your customers.

5. Acceptable use

Do not:

  • break the law, or upload unlawful, deceptive or infringing content;
  • try to access another station's data, probe or attack the service, or bypass security;
  • overload the service, scrape it, or resell access without our agreement;
  • use WaterApp to send spam or harass people, or to collect personal data you have no right to.

6. Your data

Your station's data stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run WaterApp for you. You can export or delete records in the app, and you can ask us to delete your account. We handle personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep WaterApp available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or retire features. If we make a change that significantly reduces a feature of your paid plan, we will tell you in advance where we can.

8. Ending or suspending an account

You may stop using WaterApp or ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other people at risk, or has unpaid fees after we have given notice. Where possible we will give you time to export your data.

9. Our responsibility and its limits

WaterApp is provided “as is” to the extent the law allows. We are not responsible for losses that come from your business decisions, your customers' actions, third-party services such as payment, hosting or phone networks, or events outside our control. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Philippine law, including consumer and data privacy laws, that cannot be limited.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes will be brought before the proper courts of the Philippines, after we have first tried in good faith to settle the matter with you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is important we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use WaterApp after that means you accept the new terms.
